 Every single person is born into this world as a sinner. Romans 5:12-21(NCV), "Sin came into the world because of what one man (Adam) did, and with sin came death." This is why everyone must die, because everyone sinned. Sin was in the world before the law of Moses, but sin is not counted against us as breaking a command when there is no law. But from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, everyone had to die, even those who had not sinned by breaking a command as Adam had. Adam was like the One who was coming in the future. But God's free gift is not like Adams sin. Many people died because of the sin of that one man. But the grace from God was much greater. Many people received God's gift of life by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ. After Adam sinned once, he was judged guilty. But the gift of God is different. God's free gift came after many sins, and it makes people right with God. One man sinned so death ruled all people because of that one man. But now those people who accept God's full grace and the great gift of being made right with Him will surely have true life and rule through the one man, Jesus Christ. So as One sin of Adam brought the punishment of death to all people, one good act that Christ did makes all people right with God. And that brings true life for all. One man disobeyed God, and many become sinners. In the same way, one man obeyed God, and many will be made right. The law came to make sin worse. but when sin grew worse, God's grace increased. Sin once used death to rule us, but God gave people more of His grace so that grace could rule by making people right with Him. And this brings life forever through Jesus Christ our Lord. At some point in every person's life, you must make a choice to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You can not get into Heaven because your parents go to church, or your Dad is a preacher or because you think you are a good, nice person. John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man, cometh unto the Father but by me." Without Jesus Christ you have no access to the One True God. Until you accept Jesus as your Savior, you are lost and on your way to Hell. Jesus is the ONLY way you can enter into Heaven and be rapture ready. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, and whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life." The earlier in life you receive Jesus the better, however it is never too late. If you are still breathing and still alive, you can accept Jesus as Savior. If you have never prayed the sinners prayer, and you have not accepted Jesus as Savior then you are going to Hell when you die. If your church or denomination does not recognize that you must accept Jesus as Savior to be saved then you are not going to the right church, you are merely a member of a social group. Just believing in God is not good enough. The bible says in James 2:19, that "even the devils believe in God and tremble". All religions do not worship the same God. There is only ONE TRUE GOD. We can become part of God's family and one of His children IF we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. God does not help you in life and listen to you, and you are not going to Heaven if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You will miss the rapture and be left here to be destroyed during the tribulation. God will not help you if you reject Him. God loves everyone and does not want to see anyone miss the rapture and spend eternity in Hell, but GOD WILL NOT GO AGAINST YOUR FREE WILL. You must willingly choose Jesus as Savior first If you want to be part of God's family. There are five easy steps to accepting Jesus as Savior. 1. Acknowledge you are a sinner. Romans 3:23(KJV), “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” We we are all born into this world as a sinner. At some point in our lives, we must be born again spiritually, to escape hell. If we never accept Jesus as Savior during our lives, then when we die, we go to Hell. 2. Call out to Jesus for help. God said in Acts 2:21(KJV), ” Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Just call on Jesus. He is your answer to all your problems. He will help you if you ask Him. He is ready and willing. 3. Repent your sins. Acts 3:19(KJV), “Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out.” Repentance is a decision to do better. It is a change of mind, change of heart, and a change of action. 4. Believe in Jesus. John 3:16(KJV), “For so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Believing in Jesus is accomplished in your heart and soul. Just saying you believe is not good enough. God knows your heart and judges your heart. He knows if you really believe or not. 5. Confession. Romans 10:9&10(NCV), "If you use your mouth to say "Jesus is Lord" and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. We believe with our hearts and so we are made right with God. And we use our mouths to say that we believe, and so we are saved." If you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and He is Lord and now lives at the right hand of God, and if you receive the blood sacrifice Jesus made for your sins then you will be saved. I believe praying this prayer with all your heart is the FIRST step to your confession. Pray this prayer: “Jesus I am a sinner. Save me, help me, I need you. I know You died on the cross for my sins, rose from the dead and now live at the right hand of God. I choose to live my life according to Your Word, the Bible. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for writing my name down in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus I receive you as Lord of my life. In Jesus name, Amen.” You are now born again, and a child of God. You are ready for the rapture. |
